Simple and Effective Ways To Prevent Bad Breath!

Halitosis or commonly known as bad breath, is in fact embarrassing that can lower down your self-esteem and confidence level with talking to others. Remember, a good breath plays a major role when it comes to good hygiene.

What causes a bad breath can be linked to a number of reasons such as eating odorous foods, smoking, dry mouth, medical conditions, gum disease, and sinus conditions. In fact, there is a total of 80 - 100 different kinds of bacteria in our mouth that produces volatile sulfur compounds which causes bad breath.

But for this case, Doctor Liza Ong, has provided some tips and precautions on how to prevent ourselves end up having a bad breath.According to her, one of the best and simplest ways to prevent it is to brush your teeth three (3) times a day and 15 times on each tooth, regularly floss your teeth after meals to remove plaques in between the teeth.

She also advises everyone to avoid eating odorous foods such as, onion, garlic and chili since their odor stays in the moth for 24 hours.
